Introduction of some members of Xu Jiren academic team:
Xu Jiren: General Manager of Siemens Industrial Software R&D Center China, Director of Knowledge Engineering Department of California R&D Center. More than 40 years of CAD/CAE/CAM R&D and management experience. Since 1980, he has been engaged in technology R&D and management in CAMMAX Systems, Control Data Corp (CDC), GE/ Calma, and UGS in the United States. 2004 In 2017, the UGS China R&D center (the predecessor of Siemens SPLM R&D center) was established in Shanghai, and the Chengdu branch of Siemens SPLM R&D center was established in 2017. In the work of the Premier of China for nearly 20 years, he has been promoting the joint production, education and research work between Siemens SPLM and universities, and actively promoting the localization of technology by Siemens and government departments.
Shi Guirong: Graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a doctorate in engineering. He has participated in research projects in the fields of mechanical design and automation, computer-aided design, and mold reverse engineering, and published more than 10 papers. He began to participate in the development of UG in 2000 and joined SIEMENS PLM Shanghai R&D Center in 2004. He has been engaged in the development of digital software, and has participated in the development of NX CHECK-MATE, NX AUTOMOTIVE, NX SHIP-DRAWING, NX SHAPESEARCH, NX MCD and other products. In the last 5 years, he has been committed to the technology research and development of digital virtual debugging and the realization of the software platform NXMCD. Obtained 2 patents in the work.
Wang Ling: Graduated from Tongji University with a master's degree in engineering. He has been engaged in project support and research related to industrial software, and has published many professional papers and won many awards. Since joining Siemens in 2015, he has supported Changan Automobile, Geely Automobile, FAW Group, SAIC Group, Sany Heavy Industry, Dongfulong and other enterprises in digital manufacturing related projects. He has extensive project experience.
Li Zhi: Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a Ph.D. in engineering, and once did post-doctoral research at the National University of Singapore. He has been engaged in the research and development of mold computer-aided design, and has successively published more than 10 high-level academic papers and obtained a number of patents. Since joining Siemens in 1997, he has presided over the development of design modules such as injection molds, progressive molds, and reuse libraries in the US R&D Center. They have been widely used in the global mold industry and are in a leading position in the industry. At the same time participate in global important customer support and training.
Shi Xiaoxiang: Graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a doctorate in engineering. He once engaged in postdoctoral research at Ohio State University in the United States, published more than 20 high-level journal papers at home and abroad, and participated in the compilation of two academic works. He started working in UGS in the United States in 2003, mainly engaged in the research and development of knowledge-based industrial automation software. Participated in the development of modules such as the automotive general layout design wizard, and was responsible for the development of a series of knowledge-based modules after being merged into the Siemens industrial software department, such as MCD that provides digital twins for Industry 4.0. In the past two years, he has been responsible for the development of industrial software in the cloud and participated in the development of five patents.
