From August 15 to August 17, 2020, Professor Wang Xin from the School of Mechanical Engineering led a team to the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and the team of Professor Wang Xinyun from the State Key Laboratory of Material Forming and Mould Technology Project cooperation, postgraduate education and other content exchange and study.
Professor Wang Xinyun is the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund. The team has long been engaged in the research of basic theory of metal plastic processing application, process method optimization, advanced mold and equipment design and manufacturing. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in a number of important scientific research tasks such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general assembly pre-research, major special projects, support plans, and provincial and ministerial projects. A series of research progress has been made and efforts have been made in promoting the industrialization of scientific research results. Made a contribution. Published more than 200 academic papers, including more than 60 SCI papers, obtained more than 20 invention patents, and formulated 5 machinery industry standards. Won 1 second prize of National Technology Invention and 3 first prizes of provincial and ministerial level. At present, Professor Wang Xinyun and Professor Wang Xin of our school have cooperated to train 1 doctoral student, and carry out the application research of ultrasonic vibration in plastic forming (multiple die forging).
Through this exchange and investigation, the team of Professor Xinyun Wang shared research experience with the team of Professor Wang Xin of our school. In order to promote the construction of the plateau discipline platform of our college, in the future, Professor Wang Xin's team will continue to strengthen exchanges with Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other domestic first-class universities, and will conduct in-depth cooperation with Professor Wang Xinyun's team in discipline construction, award application and graduate training.
