On the morning of November 13, 2019, the "Shanghai Intelligent Multidirectional Die Forging Technology Alliance Establishment Preparatory Meeting" hosted by Shanghai Plateau Discipline-Mechanical Engineering Discipline was held in the conference room 308 of our college. Twenty-one representatives from 11 companies and universities across the country, as well as heads of academic disciplines and specially-appointed experts from our university's plateau disciplines, attended the meeting. Professor Hu Sheng, president of Shanghai Dianji University, and Professor Ma Huimin, director of the Graduate School Division, attended the preparatory meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xin Shaojie. After full discussions, the participants improved and adopted the alliance industry-university-research framework agreement, and elected one director, three deputy directors, and the secretary-general. The preparatory meeting also passed the proposal for the establishment of the Alliance Technical Committee and the working rules of the Alliance Technical Committee, and elected one director and two deputy directors of the Technical Committee of the Alliance. This meeting prepared for the formal establishment of the alliance. On behalf of the Alliance, Mr. Lu Yachen, Director of the Alliance and Vice President of Shanghai Electric Group, thanked President Hu for attending the meeting, and said that the Alliance will guide enterprises to cooperate closely with Shanghai Dianji University to serve the school's talent training and scientific research. On behalf of the school, President Hu Sheng introduced the situation of the school and the new area and the development prospects in the next few years to the participants. He also hoped that the enterprises of the alliance would care about and support the Shanghai Electric College and achieve a win-win situation through the coordinated development of the school and enterprise.
